Everything tasted so fresh and was packed with flavor, best meal I've had in a while! Even the side salad and soup were delicious, the salad dressing was so refreshing. The sashimi melts in your mouth. All of this quality for $20 was well worth it! The servers were extremely attentive and nice and I love that they have outdoor seating. Would love to come back soon!

This place was very nice! I honestly was hoping for a cheaper, more classic sushi dinner and was a little thrown off by how high-end the dishes were but it was still good. Definitely modern takes on Japanese food on the pricier. The service was nice and quick!

One of my favorite places to go to! Me and my fiance come to Kabosu almost every week! Best sushi in town. The service is great and they are very fast. It's always loud and busy here which makes it so much better. Definitely recommend!!!

This is the sister restaurant to Yuzu, so I walked in with high expectations. The dining atmosphere is casual and perfect for brunch, featuring intimate seating and small tables ideal for parties of 2-4. The sushi was incredibly fresh and exceeded my expectations. Each item was thoughtfully curated, down to the smallest detail. I tried quail egg on sushi for the first time, and the yuzu in the sauce was a delightful surprise, pairing perfectly with the halibut. Whether you come with your parents or friends, this place won't disappoint.

Just had to add this delicious soft shell crab roll to my already long list of delicious things at Kabosu. The oyster shooter is the best I've ever had and I've been many places. They just know how to do it.

Best! Everything is 10/10 here. My favorite: lobster roll + psycho salmon w/ finger limes. You never wait longer than 30 min for a table. Not enough good things to say about this place, once you try it, nothing compares!

Had an awesome experience here. Came out for an anniversary dinner, no reservations, on a windy rainy Wednesday evening. Ordered several items on the menu and each was tasty. The food is well prepared, the service was great, slightly crowded but moderate noise. We dived right in on the appetizers, my favorites were the rock shrimp and fried brussels sprouts. My kushiyaki was the chilean seanass with soy, amazing. There's much more to try on the expansive menu. Looking forward to my next visit

I am definitely a year round regular here! Kabosu & Yuzu are sister restaurants in West Toluca Lake, across the street from each other. They have the same menu so you can't go wrong going to either location. The quality of the fish is one of the best in LA, and they offer a wide selection of unique menu items. You will enjoy everything you try, but here are my "must order": Toro Sampler Lemon Roll Yuzu Roll Wagyu Nigiri Fruit Crème Brûlée Service is always great here. I do prefer sitting at a table vs the bar. In the summer I love sitting outside, it's always relaxing. It is difficult for them to sit a party more than 6 without splitting the tables. I would definitely call in advance to make reservations, but they also take walk ins. If you don't want to wait I suggest coming at 5:30 right when they open and you will be seated with the first crowd. If you come on a weekend without a reservation, be prepared for a long wait, they do get really busy.
